Proofreading
Proofreading can be accomplished in several formats. I trust my methodology in reading material several times via hardcopy, email, pdf and depending on the product, whatever vehicle is necessary in order to identify spelling and grammatical errors, syntax and linguistics.
Editing
Editing requires having a broad knowledge and expertise in a specific field in an effort of assisting writers/authors in creating and communicating information effectively and efficiently. Possessing specialized skills and having the ability to analyze and develop appropriate and suitable material is a must. By researching, interviewing and becoming familiarized in a specific area assists in producing a product in the proper style, design and layout. I'll use the required tools and software necessary to ensure the outcome is one that is expected.
Resume Writing
Resume Writing isn't as simple as writing down a list of employers. My technique is to learn about the company for which one is applying. Familiarizing myself with the company's desired layout and format. Omitting irrelevant data and incorporating pertinent information specific to a specific job. More isn't always best and less doesn't always produce results. Knowing your audience is as significant as knowing and acquiring the skills needed to perform your duties.
Personal Budget
Personalized Budgets is only accomplished if you have a good schedule and discipline. However, this is a learned skill. There will always be challenges and obstacles that will appear out of nowhere. But, when you have a schedule and a plan you are more likely to commit and execute.
